About UPL
The Uttarakhand Premier League (UPL) is all set to return with its much-awaited Season 2 this September–October 2025, bringing back the thrill of state-level T20 cricket. After a blockbuster debut in 2024, where USN Indians and Mussoorie Thunders were crowned champions and stars like B Praak and Parmish Verma lit up the ceremonies, UPL has firmly established itself as Uttarakhand’s biggest sporting spectacle. Season 1 witnessed packed stadiums, over 21 million viewers across TV and digital, and a prize pool of ₹60 lakhs, proving the state’s passion for cricket and entertainment. Riding on that success, Season 2 promises to be bigger and better—with eight men’s teams, four women’s teams, iconic players like Akash Madhwal and Mansi Joshi, and live broadcasts on Sony Sports Network and OTT platforms. Hosted at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Dehradun, UPL 2025 is not just cricket—it’s a celebration of Uttarakhand’s talent, culture, and growing sporting spirit.
